I kept trying. I kept picking myself up and pushing forward even when things felt at their worst. And as much as I tried pushing my friends away sometimes, thinking it was for the best for them, they continued to help me... so I let them. I let them be my support when I needed it and I learnt to trust their own judgements and their own abilities.
I guess the whole experience of dying once also helped me to realize that holding onto past events wasn't really the best thing to do and that it's much better to just accept things happened, let them go and just look ahead rather than behind. Even the most negative of things can lead to something good eventually and despite what I've been through, it made me who I am today.
...I really don't recommend dying and getting resurrected by a giant evil spider god though.
