I'm beginning to think this whole Machine King thing isn't real.

And Adam/Eve's insisting on sleeping with a tinfoil hat as to not let their thoughts get probed.

This has to be dealt with, soon.

I want to get married, but not if my fiancee is crazy from delusions.

I can say with certainty that it's real.

Find some way to temporally suppress the memory of Machine King in their mind until you can get the wedding and everything done. Then they can go and deal with it.

If it's getting to the point where it's affecting their sanity, then you need to take somewhat more drastic measures.

Adam getting locked into Eve with terrible fashion sense, or Adam going crazy and attempting to suicide run into another dimension that Machine King might not even be near anymore thanks to growing psychosis?

I should probably be freaking out more about this, but I like to think I've matured.

... Orrr I'm just more willing to acknowledge the things we can do, even if they're morally suspect.

But really, I care about Adam. I don't want to see him ruining his happiness because something had to happen to set off his paranoia.

He seems more interested.

Like he cares, but I can't help but feel I'm second fiddle.

I think he has enough happiness with you if he's willing to marry you in the first place.

But... I don't think you can take the "fight" out of him either. I think it's basically one of those things he's found out he's "good" at, effectively.

Hnmm... Adam definitely has trouble when it comes to these types of things. A lot of trouble.

It took me a long time to realize why exactly he decided to follow me all the way from North School, back when we were teenagers, so he isn't really the type to make his intentions clear... and then they end up kinda exploding in his face?

Best I'd say is... give him the benefit of the doubt? If it weren't for this Machine King stuff, I do know he's trying on this.

I'm split between agreeing and knowing that Adam would feel like you're stealing his job, but on the other hand.

He's been clearly waffling about this for a while, now. You should step up and show you mean business.

Either that or make it the honeymoon trip.
